Will Worswick

Our Head Coach is Will Worswick!

Will is Qualified in coaching several sports: Hockey, Cricket, Football and even Futsal. Although Cricket and Hockey are the main 2 sports that Will coaches, he has plenty of experience in the world of coaching football.

Will's hockey coaching experience goes from coaching at King's School for nearly 2 years, coaching plenty of successful hockey teams. He has also helped coach an U18s Alderley Edge Team reach a National Plate final! 

With Will's Cricket coaching, his 1-2-1 coaching is his speciality, having helped so many people to develop massively over the past few years. He has coached many junior teams at King's School, notably helping an U13 Girls' Team become County Champions! He has helped coach Prestbury 1st Team whilst playing, helping some senior players develop their game!

Will is an outstanding Cricket and Hockey player, playing at a high standard in both. Whilst only being 21, Will has played at 1st team level in both sports for a number of years already!

Will currently plays for Alderley Edge Hockey Club's 1st Team and is a key part of the forward line in this team. He is part of a team who are currently pushing to be a national league team, which is know to be a very high level of hockey!

Onto his Cricket, Will is currently playing for Prestbury Cricket Club's 1st team. He has been the 1st Team's lead scorer for the past 5 seasons and he continues to show why this is the case with starting this current 2026 season with an unbeaten 116! Will is also Prestbury's leading First Team leading run scorer and wicket taker since Play cricket started well over 20 years ago, so this shows the level he has been performing at with the bat and ball!
